It just isn't an different to a drill press, however it does work for most portable-drilling softwares. It's lightweight, cheap, small and it does what it's purported to. Without a well-adjusted drill press, we'd be hard-pressed to make anything this accurate for this cost. It is an effective deal.

1. Strike center punch with hammer the location you want the outlet.
